Ed Sheeran has described his first-ever Emmy win as a "real surprise".
The Shape of You singer won the Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics prize at the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards for A Beautiful Game on Saturday.
The song featured in the Ted Lasso finale and was written by Ed and his co-writing partners Max Martin and Foy Vance.
The British singer, who didn't attend the awards, addressed his win on Instagram alongside footage of him recording the song.

Prince's Purple Rain is set to be turned into a stage musical.
On Monday, theatre producer Orin Wolf confirmed the 1984 rock musical film is being adapted for the Broadway stage. The project will be helmed by Lileana Blain-Cruz, who recently directed the acclaimed show, The Skin of Our Teeth.

Sinéad O'Connor died of natural causes, according to the coroner.
A spokesperson for the London Inner South Coroner's Court confirmed on Tuesday that the Irish hitmaker died of natural causes on 26 July 2023 aged 56.
